Plug Into Kerley Ink's social media outlets... Website, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook
Web News Extender MEGAGEL is a low-tack, low-VOC, mineral oil-based extender vehicle with elevated viscosity and short flow. Web News Extender MEGAGEL is designed to be used to make short-flow coldset web news and low-tack business forms inks. Virtually any type of mineral oil-based, soy oil-based or heatset oil-based flush or pigment dispersion is compatible with Web News Extender FFG .
A distinct advantage of Web News Extender FFG over free-flow news vehicles is that inks made with Web News Extender MEGAGEL will have low misting and flow characteristics optimized for use on older newspaper presses. Web News Extender MEGAGEL will deliver inks with superb ink/water balance even at very low tacks. MEGAGEL-based inks won't drip through fountains overnight.
Web News Extender MEGAGEL is compatible with both neutral and mild acid fountain solutions. Ink/water balance is excellent.

The main difference with Web News Extender MEGAGEL in comparison to our Web News Extender FFG or LO VIS is that MEGAGEL is considerably thicker in body and develops a high-structure ink, whereas Web News Extender FFG or Web News Extender LO VIS cannot. This is particularly advantageous if you are formulating for older web newspaper presses that need shorter, thicker inks to transfer from ink roll to ink roll successfully.
Web News Extender MEGAGEL may be used with Soy Oil-based, Heatset, or Quickset flushed colors with good results. Web News Extender MEGAGEL contains 48% bio/renewable ingredients.
