AquaMax Dense Black was originally designed with envelopes in mind, but is not limited to just envelope printing
AquaMax™
DENSE Black
AquaMax™ Dense Black water-base flexo ink is formulated for uncoated paper and envelope stocks running on 200-600 LPI (2-9 BCM) anilox roller-equipped flexographic presses. Use of AquaMax™ Dense Black is not recommended for non-absorbent substrates and plastic films. AquaMax™ Dense Black is highly pigmented.
Kerley Ink has designed AquaMax™ inks to be considerably more stable in-fountain than the majority of water-based flexo inks in the market by integrating a very forgiving amine neutralizing system for longer runs between pH adjustments. In addition, all AquaMax™ inks are relatively free of mineral fillers like clay extenders, so color strength and print fidelity are optimized.
AquaMax™ Dense Black has low viscosity (<1.2 poises or 16 seconds #3 Zahn Cup) so it dives into the uncoated paper substrate quickly for excellent drying speed and easy handling and die cutting.
Like many other Kerley Ink products, AquaMax™ can be fine-tuned in strength and viscosity for your press on a special basis.
