Kerley Ink announces winter holiday schedule
Kerley Ink's offices and plants will be on winter holiday from Monday 24 December 2007 
through Tuesday 25 December 2007 (Christmas Day). Kerley Ink will re-open on Wednesday, 26 December.
Kerley Ink will again be on holiday from Monday 31 December 2007 through Tuesday 1 January, 2008. Kerley will re-open on Wednesday, 2 January, 2008.
Columbian Chemicals announces price increase on Jan 1, 2008
On November 29, 2007 Columbian Chemicals Corp., a major supplier of black pigments to the printing ink and coatings markets announced a US$0.12/lb increase in the price of all pigment-grade carbon blacks, effective January 1, 2008. The feedstock for the manufacture of carbon black pigment is the heavy by-product of petroleum refining, thus punctuating the upward spiral in the cost of manufacturing printing inks.
